You may want to grab yourself an extra SD card, so you can backup the waypoints eventually, 256-512 meg is way more than enough. In case you ever need to reset the unit, which clears the memory.

Joel’s post about scopes got me thinking. How many of you have a dedicated turkey gun?

I can’t gun hunt my turkey woods. Thwack Attack only.

My Turkey gun is set up so I leave it alone and hunt the others with another shot gun

The only thing I change is shells. I don’t ever change chokes from ducks, to geese, to snows, to turkey. I know many people do, but I stick with my 3 1/2 870 XCS with extended Pattern Master. That choke flat out whacks heads, and am most experienced and efficient with the good ol bead at the end

I use my 870 with xf choke and a 3in turkey load, and my bow set at 70lbs and 5 pins dialed in from 20 out to 60 yards.

I bought my Stoeger M2000 to be a dedicated turkey gun, but it points so naturally for me and is so light, I use it for pheasants too. When turkey season rolls around, I change the choke, put on tri-viz sights, a v-pod shooting stick, and a sling and I am ready to go.
