For those of you with youth participating in the DNR Mentor hunt, or those who haven’t turkey hunted and are just getting started, I’ll be hosting a DNR Wild Turkey Clinic this Saturday morning.

Please drop me an email if you wish to attend – more information here.

If you or your kids are interested in getting involved in turkey hunting this is a great opportunity to get a bunch of great information. Joel was just the host at my middle schools outdoor club turkey seminar and did a fantastic job. Joel I think you may have been a middle school teacher in a past life. Thanks again for speaking to my group

I can only imagine what a guy can learn form Joel. I shared a blind with him last spring and learned alot and I have been hunting turkeys for 18 years. If you have a chance take advantage of this.

I had the pleasure of sitting in on one of his talks a few years ago. Needless to say he does a great job, and keeps it interesting even for an avid turkey guy. If your lucky he’ll sit down, and tell you some of his unwritten tactics afterwards.

Thank you Bob, it was fun and that was a great group of kids. Having two boys I think gives me a small preview of what middle school kids could be like, though I’m sure I’ve got much to learn in that dept.!

Still have a few spots left in the turkey clinic, that other Miller boy should attend.
