    Awesome post derailed in a good way. Turkeys and mushrooms go together nicely. I was extremely lucky in 2010 and fortunate to have such a great year chasing both with family and friends. Bracing myself this season for all the good luck I used up last year.

    The last two photos were when trying to film the hunt. Shoulda been here earlier!

    It’ll catch up with me, always does. One can only take so much from the turkey gods before they viciously break your heart, sometimes a handful of times in one season!

    I hear ya…my first 3 or 4 seasons was a cake walk…now the last few seasons it’s been like trying to find needle in a hay stack. I can get other people on birds but not myself! Maybe this year it will turn back around for me!
