Surplus 2011 MN Turkey Hunt Licenses

    I noticed on the DNR website that the available surplus licenses are out but there are none listed for the last 2 seasons (G&H). Obviously this is a mistake. I emailed them…

    Brad the last two are OTC if the area had more than 50 permits avaliable. It’s a new rule they came up with this year. .

    cw is that otc either weapon or bow only??

    Ah…. I didn’t know that. OK – that makes sense now. Just to clarify… everyone is guaranteed a license and can purchase it OTC for either the G or H season (for areas that had 50 or more permits available)?

    This is copied off the DNR website:

    New this year: It is not necessary to enter into the lottery for time periods G and H. The G and H time periods
    will be available to anyone. The G and H time period licenses will be sold as a surplus license at ELS agent
    locations in mid March.

    Could someone post a link to where it says the permit numbers and the areas locations??? I’m struggling…. NEED MORE COFEE

    i didnt draw this year if i go surplus its looking like e season or later i wanted to get a early tag due to fishing tournaments
