    Crazy numbers of left over tags for Zone 1 1200 for C season ??

    I can buy a tag for C,D,E and F OTC and drew a tag for A season so I can hunt 5 of the 6 seasons. I hope the winter isn’t too hard on the turkeys

    Here’s another one… It seems it will take some time for excess tags in Zone 7, so it is nice that Zone 3’s northerly border is just south of me at US Hwy 8 (25 miles south) and it southerly border encompasses my family’s land south of Marshfield, so I can hunt from here/my home to the land on the weekend, but season 3 only has 380 tags left, Good luck to me…

    Also, of the 80,000 tags left for over the counter sale, approx. 30,000 are for season 6!!!

    Biggest problem for me w / 6 is its the best time of the year to walleye fish, so four, five and six become tough to hunt, would love to if I had the chance to get extra tags up here, but its not happening right now.

    This is why I love to turkey hunt in Wis. last year I had 4 tags for zone 1 season F alone…. gona shoot for the same this year

    But I am gona hold out for zone 4 first.

    I ended up getting a Zone 1 “C” tag online today too. Then I went back in and tried to purchase one for my wife and they were sold out. Pretty amazing they sold 1200 tags in 10 min.

    Check that, 4 minutes. The site froze up for me just before purchase, and I elected to start from scratch rather than wait it out. Calculated move that cost me!
