    We ended up doing the same thing this weekend…didn’t want to deal with the wind. Ended up on a lake North of the pond…POUNDED the big sunnies!! I forgot how fun targeting them could be! Ended up with 30 hand sized fish, first fish kept this year, released about 100…none stop action. Small pink jig/leech combo.

    We also got into a nice largemouth bite pulling in about 15, none under 2 lbs…most were in the 3-4lb range, with one at 6lbs, wife got that on pan fish/bobber rig. Ultra light, 2 lb. test and wood everywhere…quite the battle! I was throwing a spinner bait.

    In all a fun weekend.

    lmao well which one? i was on smith lake sunday and me and a buddy got clost to 100 bass and 2 notrherns did awesome. it was a great day for the water.
