Arrow Finds Mark

I made the decision after a lack-luster day yesterday in 30 mph winds that the first one in the deeks was gonna get kabobbed I had zero gobbling on the farm and I could hear a couple hens in the distance. At 6:50 I looked off to the right of the DSD’s and here come’s the jake patrol on a dead sprint . I let them size up the jake and breeder for a couple minutes. I can say with all honesty this is the first time I have ever maintained 100% composure , drew the bow, centered my peep and released with out getting rattled or the fever all in perfect sequence. It was cool to think it all through with zero-pressure. The Grim Reaper found it’s mark at a mere 10 yards, and he made it 2 steps before his pals left him in the dust. Kinda of a cool deal and he will eat just fine. On a side note…I have never decoyed as many jakes as this year…A ton of them

NWTF score…… 22.1 or some where real close

Way to go! It’s never easy with a bow.

Awesome. I can’t wait to get back in the woods this weekend for the MN bow season.
