    Generally…yes.

If they are very big files, over 2 megs, they will have to be resized. I’ve uploaded 1.5 megs without problems.

Also they should have the extension on them…like: picture.jpg

That’s the two problems I’ve found when folks have trouble uploading.

Jordan, the problem with your pics was the overall size. They were huge, somewhere along 18″ wide. That adds to the file size. Sometimes, digital cameras take pics where the resolution is the issue. Yours were at a resolution of 72, which is about perfect. I have mine set to take pics at 300, which allows them to be enlarged.

To alleviate the problems you encountered, you may want to change the settings in your camera or download some photo editting software so you can reduce the overall size of your pics. Cropping them helps but the case of the pics you had, it wouldn’t have done much.

Set up close to the gobbler this morning. Heard him fly down at 5:25 and when he started going the other way, called to bring him my way but no luck. After a few minutes of frustration and thinking about chasing him a gobble let out not 40 yards behind me – I could feel it. I guess there were 2 roosted and this 1 was quiet until he got close to the field. He gobbled a few more times at very close range and when he started heading the other way to the hens I let him have it. 11 inch beard, 1 inch spurs and 25.2 lbs. 67.2 NWTF.

Forgot to take the camera to the woods.

Time to get food plots ready for deer season.
