Two less Thunder Chickens in Central Wisconsin

    This was probably one of the most memorable and enjoyable hunts I’ve had with my Dad. We were hunting back in Central Wisconsin in the Medford area. On Thursday, I shot this 23# 10 1/2″ bearded Tom. Saturday morning after missing a jake, my dad took his first turkey after 4 years of hunting them. It was a 21#, 9″ beard Tom. It was a “Blast” being in the doghouse blind with him and calling in this “showoff” He did his last dance at 30 steps from the blind. Got to Love it!
