I have never hunted this early, what phase do you think they might be in? Henned up or possibly still looking around? Hard to say I suppose but without any time to scout I was hoping someone might be in the field?

Last weekend in Central Minnesota we did not see a single Hen. My guess is that most of them in that area were already on nest. The toms still were on the move and responding well to the call. They did tend to be a little shy of the decoys. I had several birds hang up just outside of Range. The birds were really vocal just prior to daybreak which made it easy to locate a bird to set up on. Best of luck to you.
