Just wondering if any of you out there have ever made wing bone calls before? Here’s a few I just got done making. I’m not that good at calling with them, just thought they look cool on display. Just kind of curious if anyone else has made a few??

I myself, have never used one. But my Grandfather used one in the spring turkey woods for over 50 years. They sound great. Very cool nice job

Cool post Johnsy! Your Wing Bone Calls lood good! Fellow IDO Gold Member and friend (Tom Hebert who was at the Buck Party) makes them too. Has anyone ever called and killed another tom by using one of their own wing bone calls?

I’ve never used a wingbone exclusively to kill a bird but they sure work well on overpressured birds. Between that and an old Turpin trumpet you can get most birds to answer. I make a few every year but usually go with the old set that I made from a hen a few years back. If you have some antler to make a lipstop (or some cork)it will make playing one a whole lot easier.
