Are you putting a trailer hitch on it to pull the boat? Looks great.

Will you be givin rides in that baby when its done? Too bad your married.. That would be quite the chick magnet..Wait I’m married too.
March 27, 2008 at 3:07 am #643848Thanks everyone….the Brat and I are really excited….it looks like we are on track for an end of April early May completion date…just in time for summer!!
Today I ordered the exhaust system ceramic coated headers and a 2.5″ crossover system from Pypes Performance. That should let the engine breath well and give us a noticeable nice low throaty tone without being too loud.
Bzzsaw…we’ll have to find a weekend that the wives are gone. Maybe send them to some crafting show out of state or something.
March 27, 2008 at 5:42 am #642326Awesome car I use to work in a body shop and we always fought over who got to work on the classics.
March 27, 2008 at 1:18 pm #628261Don’t forget to swing through Hastings when you’re out for a cruise…

March 27, 2008 at 6:35 pm #616642I didnt know yellow was a GTO color It wouldnt have been my choice of colors but then again its not my car The black top will tone it down a little but it will still be easy to spot in the parking lot Still looks good though.Nice car.

I didn’t think so either. Wasn’t it supposed to be that army tank green?

Yeah, the original color was Verdoro Green, and our intent was to keep it that way…… until we saw the color swatch. It looked more like a color I’d paint a duck boat than a car. We knew then that we weren’t going with the original color, so after looking through about 4,000 paint chips, and numerous new car lots, we narrowed it down to 4 or 5 colors including a couple of different greens, a burgandy, and the Velocity Yellow we ended up going with.
