Well, you guys will know if you see me down on 5, as I have a 16 foot SeaNymph Pike Attacker, that says “Fat Guy” on the side and all of my guide information.

Saturday I was out amongst the “bumperboats” when I got a phone call. “How much do you charge for a day on the Mississippi?” was the question. I stated I couldn’t legally guide the Sippi as I am not Coast Guard licensed. I looked up and saw I was talking to the guy guy in the boat next to me! Thanks, I got a kick out of that if you are on here!

Hey Fatguy, was that you I passed Sunday early morning on my way to Fountain City? I passed a guy pulling a SeaNymph boat but I didn’t notice the information on the side. It would’ve been around 6:30 a.m.? We were on our way to scout for turkeys down there! This Sunday I’ll have the boat with and will be trying pool 5A!

Nope, Momma gave me the kitchen pass as I will be helping her Dad fix fence and brand cattle while I’m out there. I’m giving my blinds to Stacie’s Mom who is here now and leaving on Sunday and her Dad will be setting them up for me where they have been right before I go there.

Her brother Tyler and I will be chasing those Merriam SD Thunder Chickens! I never shot a Merriam with my bow.

    Bought my license yesterday!

Thanks Guys! Last night I made a trip to the Man’s Mall (Fleet Farm) and picked up a new friction slate Call. Flextone’s Tramp Stamp ($14.99) and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it sounded even with a novice caller like myself.

I also picked up a Killer B decoy from Primos for $59.99 and love that too. The extra movement of being able to drop and raise the tail fan could be the difference of bringing that big Tom all the way in. I also picked up a Crow locator call. I’m pumped and can not wait.

The Mathews is almost dialed in and ready to rock!
