Gobbling on the roost pose or a full strut pose for the mount?

Both would be very cool mounts. Do you have a full body mount already? My first one will be in full strut….when the wife lets me that is!

to answer your question, i like the strutter poses..

not that you asked, but i think my first trophy turkey will be a dead mount. ive always been interested in this type of mount being a big bird hunter. to me its a unique way to display all the qualities of your bird: beard, head, wings, fan, spurs… i might try to incorporate some sort of beard display holder for other toms im lucky enough to get.

I like the full strut pose next to the pellet feeder!

I like full strut like Gut showed. To me, youre not seeing the best part of the bird when it in fly down

Floor space is at a premium in his bedroom, so we have decided on the Gobbler on the roost. I also think its going to show the double beard a little better than a flying or a dead hanging mount. Should get it back just in time for Santa to bring it down the chimney!
