anybody gonna drop 23 bucks for this new squealing hen call from hs strut?
watched a short video clip on it and supposedly a hen “squeals” – apparently with joy – when she is mounted by a tom. and this sound causes all the other gobblers in the woods to come running.
i have seen toms breeding hens but never heard her “squeal” and i have never heard that sound before in all the hours i have spent in the turkey woods. has anybody else?

I never heard it before either. If it might work, yes I will probably buy it.

All I could think of after seeing the commercial was here come the coyotes. This call sounds like a bad idea for my area as I see more yotes during turkey hunting than any other time.

    Walli:

I’m in the same boat as you and Pat. Seen multiple hens bred, sometimes the same one multiple times. Never heard a hen squeal. Not saying it doesn’t happen, as I’m sure it does. But how often, and how well does this call mimic that natural sound? Not to mention, as Randy pointed out, this call seems too close to a predator call for my liking.

I’m saying gimmick for now. Would love to see it in action, but without more data, there’s not a turkey spot I have that I’d risk blowing something like that in when within 200 yards of any gobbler.
