First trip of the year is coming up fast!

Breast and Ham trip to TX day after Xmas.

Hoping to fill the freezer with four birds each and a couple Hogs. Been shooting the bow everynight in the basement and the shotguns are patterned up. I think we are about ready. This is the first out of state hunt for the boy so he is pumped.

He’s been making a list, but not for santa, of things he has to bring.
    GUN,
    SNACKS,
    CALLS,
    SNACKS,
    BOOKS,
    SNACKS…

Seems like he wants Christmas to be over just so we can leave.

    Chris:

That’s an early season, even by TX standards! Sounds like a blast, and you know the boy is going to have a great time. Christmas might as well be in TX this year for him.

Can’t wait to hear how it goes man!

I know the time of year is kind of strange. Trying to keep the kid in school as much as we can. His mom doesn’t think taking the whole month of April off of school would be a good idea.

That’s funny! However, I have to agree with his mother – November would be a much better month for a child to miss school.
