    How was it out there guys? Any stories? Where were the birds at?

    I’ve got a tag for this week I’ve yet to purchase. We’ll see if work and life will let me get out there!

    Talked to one guy who harvested a bird. He got it out in the soybeans. From scouting last week I can tell you 2 things. Its wet and some places are really wet. I think only a few bean fields around home here are picked and the only corn off was choped weeks ago. Thinking that if it rains like they are saying the birds are going to be looking for a place to sun and dry out Friday and Sunday. Hopefully this brings them out of the crop fields and into an easier shooting situation. The little guy and I are going to give it a try up by the meadow when/if the rain does stop.
