Guillotined a bird yet this year???

My buddy tried but the weather was bad the first 3 days of his season and a toting a bow around isn’t the best way to Run and “Gun”.

I don’t use the guillotine…not much room for error there! A turkies head is always moving…so for me the best shot is in the vitals!

Not this year! Was one of the guys that got a chance to field test them when they first came out. Killed a few birds with them, but never was satisfied with how I could get them to fly either with my bow setup. Probably more a limitation of my setup than of the head.

No-decaps either, square on, lower hits all of them.

Tested them one year but like Joel said I couldn’t get a consistant flight from them.

Will be hunting with the Magnus Bullheads next year though!

Matter of fact, just this morning our buddy Dustin took the head off a whopper gobbler with the guilitine. Am on my way out to the taxidemy shop now to look at it. If he has some pics, i will post them.

Out of my buddy’s bow, it was pretty nuts out to 20 yards and by 30 the arrow was starting to sail high right.

Wonder if that’s typical, good for a short distance before sailing.
