Well I got my wisconsin bird this morning. Started off cold and rainy with hardly any thunderchickens sounding off. Well as the day rolled on ended up seeing four really nice toms finally round 9:30 one came in. Gave him a few clucks and purrs and he came right in and put him down at 28 yards. First morning of my WI season, I couldn’t be happier. It wasn’t a big bird but still it was awesome. 9 inch beard 21 pounds 1/2 spurs

Good job on a quick hunt! I take it they were a bit more responsive this week than they were last week? Was hard to get them going once they flew down.
