Welcome Back to IDO Steve. I never thought I would get so jacked up over a stupid Turkey. I will see you this afternoon and I’m heading home at lunch to practice some more.

Stupid turkey…we’ll see about that when he’s on the deck at 10 yards in full strut and it’s all you can do to keep your heart rate down

I have to stop…I’m all jacked up again

That is what I’m afraid of.

I’ve got the Buck Fever in control, but the does and turkeys tear me up!

    I can’t wait!

Heading around this morning i saw a lot of toms strutting. Makes a guys blood start boiling. I only saw a few hens that were in groups of five or less. Seemed like they were still in big flocks. Good luck Lip and have fun.

What do you guys use for broadheads when Turkey hunting ? I have the Sabretooths and also have some Slick Tricks. I don’t want to shoot expandables. What do you guys think ?

Spitfire for me Big G….sorry but I haven’t used a fixed blade for turks before! Are you thinking about shooting threw the mesh? I remove the mesh on the front and one side of the blind for turkey hunting.

I love the mesh and all it lets you get away with..Am I missing something? I have shot through it without a problem also. Just curious

I shoot expandables for turkey hunting so I remove the mesh! Other wise I use fixed blades when shooting threw the mesh! That’s all I was saying! Plus, if you wear the dark clothes and sit far enough back in the blind you can still get away with some movement…but not this much !!
