09 learn to hunt program

    Our club just had its 5th season learn to hunt. 12 new hunters that graduated the hunters safety program last fall were chosen to participate in a turkey hunt. Our season was april 4th and 5th. 6 of the 12 hunters bagged birds sat morning and weather kept most from going out on sunday. The tags were free for first time turkey hunters from the DNR. This was my 2nd season mentoring and what an experience brings back alot of memories getting nervous shaking uncotrollably and pure excitement was had by hunters and mentors. Just hought I’d get it out there on behalf of our new turkey hunters GREAT JOB
