to be out turkey scouting!! (Unless you’re hunting the youth season of course). I’m planning on hitting a couple of spots early Saturday morning and trying to seal the deal on a couple of other spots that were “maybe’s” when we talked to the farmers a few weeks ago. Should be a great weekend to get out and find where those gobblers are roosting and strutting! 
oh yeah hope to luck out on a bird early sat then fish sat afternoon and do a little scouting sun am for my season next wed then easter with the fam sun noon and maybe fish again sun afternoon but it all depends on the youth hunt going out fri am to locate one for sat am its almost here 
I’m picking up my new camper on saturday morning, but while they do some work on my truck running some wires and installing the brake controller, I plan on taking my girls (8 and 6 yrs old) out for a walk with my turkey calls to hopefully let them see or hear some birds.
or if we get a bird sat am may ride to skeeter boat center to do a little boat shopping 
I’ll be on P5 this p.m. and again tomorrow, then back up to Minocqua to scout on Monday and Tues for Wed.!!! Got four solid group (turkey) areas, just need to put ’em to bed twice!!!

What a great morning it was. Got out at 5:30 this morning and the birds were all fired up! I thought I was in the right spot…until all the birds flew down the valley to a field that wasn’t a part of our hunting land…until now! I went down to see if the guy would give my brother and myself permission…and he was more than happy! That’s another 360 acres! 
The next two weeks can not come soon enough!
we took a beating this am scouted fri birds everywhere very few today 
did get a tom to almost commit but circled behind us and went over the ridge 
tommorrows another day my hunter had family stuff this afternoon
