I was wondering what kind of broadheads you use. I use rage 2 for deer hunting would they work. I would like the arrow to stick not go through. any thoughts

if youre shooting through a screen i would go w/ something that is over the top expanding. Blades that rear deploy like Rage will not work if you are shooting through a screen. I am shooting the Stricknines this spring for turkeys

Jorgy, I shoot the 3 blade Rage, but like Protour mentioned, I do not shoot them through the mesh. I take the mesh windows down and where a black shirt, mask, and gloves to blend into the darkness of my Covert Hunting blind better.

I’m shooting the rage two-blades as well this year. I can’t justify switching to a different expandable that’s marginally better, if better at all. Especially considering the massive ones I’d like to switch to are 125 gr. heads, and I’m setup with everything to shoot 100 gr. heads.

Who else out there is using a different head? Anybody try the Turkey Tom O Hawk? If I’d switch, I think it’d be to this one.

Rocket archery made a 4 blade 125 gr. massive expandable a couple of years ago. Wish I could still find those.
