What topics would you guys like covered in a seminar? What would you spend your hard earned free time going to see?

I’m interested in what anyone/everyone has to say!!! While I can’t promise I’ll incorporate every suggestion, I’d love to hear what everyone thinks.

I always like some pointers on calling(all kinds of different sound and when to use them etc)and proably decoy usage.
    Hope that helps some.

    The importance of preseason scouting
Top 5 reasons why turkey hunters fail or succeed
When/how to use various decoy set ups and when not to use decoys
I know where the turkeys roost, now what?

Last year was my 1st year actually Hunting Turkeys and Joel’s Seminar was extremely helpful and quite honestly was a major reason I bagged a Turkey. He covered the basics for guys like me and really got into some neat stuff for the more experienced Turkey Hunters.
Plus he’s always willing to stick around afterwords and Talk Tom Turkey stuff till he’s blue in face or his wife calls ….

Are you doing any Gander Seminars or just the DNR ones this year?

One of the biggest frustrations for me in the turkey woods…how to handle henned up toms! Or possibly hunting strategies for late season or heavily hunted birds!

Thanks Gary for the encouragement, and you bet, I love sticking around and talking turkey.

As for seminars, I’m doing one in the Gander in Forest Lake this weekend. Sat. @ 10AM. I’ll be around during the whole day as well, doing a number of things for Quaker Boy Game Calls.

I’m going to incorporate these suggestions into my talk this weekend. Thank you all so much for these.

How about what to do after you get one down. How to get it from the field to the table and mount.
