Turkey video’s

As promised, here are the two video’s from “Broke the Pattern” and “Thunderstorm bird” posts. I have to warn you that the quality of the video is not great. I bought a new HD videocamera but my brother-in-law couldn’t download it last night…so we had to improvise. We played it on his HD tv and he videotaped off the tv so the quality is not anywhere near what it should be. Hopefully I’ll have a better video up soon!

Thanks Protour…the “buddy” you speak of is my brother! He is just excited that I left that part in the video! To let everyone know…he shot three times so there is nothing left in his gun! And he actually slipped in the mud…he went from grass to mud when he went down! He’s a good sport about it though! Like Primo’s says, “This isn’t Hollywood….it’s the Truth”!

Great hunts and videos Mike! I too laughed out loud when your brother hit the deck. However, he did redeem himself when he found that shed!

So you bought a new HD camcorder? I did too, and am having a really hard time converting m2ts files over to mpeg so I can post on you tube. You too? PM me if you are.

Simply awesome Dart!!! You make bowhunting turkeys look easy. If I was your bro I don’t know if I’d be more pumped about the turkey or the shed! Three shots out of a blind at a running bird has got to be almost impossible! I noticed you had more than one window open on your blinds. Do you always do that, I’m always afraid of letting too much light in but maybe I could get away with it???

Copper…I’ve always had the three windows in the front open! Good thing too…or else my brother would’ve made a new window for his blind! Plus, on a day like we had that day, there wasn’t any sun light coming in and it was pretty dark anyway! When I’m bow hunting I would like to have three windows open as well. Last years bird and this years birds had no idea we were there.

Again though, I have to apologize for the quality of the video’s! Hopefully we’ll get this HD dubbing figured out so you can watch these with better clarity! Thanks for the nice words anyway…my brother appreciates it!
