Just an update on my SD hunt this year. I went out there this year to chase some Merrimams, but only got to Hunt one afternoon after a couple days of fixing fence and branding. The wind was blowing really hard that afternoon/evening and the birds did not cooperate much. We saw some birds, made a plan on a few but could not chase them down as they had their minds set on going to roost.

While fixing fence we had a couple of birds with in 40 yards of us and we heard gobbling all day long. Just a teasin’ me.

Sounds like you should’ve fixed that fence earlier this year…that way they wouldn’t have gotten out and would’ve been easier for you to get!

Yeah the couple days I was working it was beautiful out. Calm, 65 degrees and birds gobbling every where. Go figure

I forgot we also had a Mountain Lion Spotting. I spotted it from the Yard and then later the Girls were 50 yards from it on the 4 wheeler down by the River.

Sorry about the botched hunting trip. Mt lions creep me to no end! Did you happen to stumble upon any sheds?

Mt. Lions keep me pretty erie also. No sheds found by me. Stacies brother and Dads found 4 the day before I arrived. I think they were from the year before.
