First tom with a bow or anything sat am!! 22yrd shot and the mathews put him down. Was able to have two guys with to film the hunt from two angles and was just lucky enough to have it all come together. I will try and submit a better pic as I just had time to scan one this am and its a little dark

I have added some photos. The two gentlemen are Bucky and Bob Beeman. Both on Cameras for this one.

Congrats on getting it done with a bow! Exciting isn’t it? And to get it on film with one camera is great but to have two angles? Looking forward to seeing pics and video!

Congrats on your first bird! With a bow, it doesn’t get any better. Fishy I’m wondering what your broadhead choice was for this bird as I’m hoping to do the same this year and I’ve found it VERY difficult!

I have used 100gr muzzys on the two turkeys I have shot and have had 100% pass through which I dont think is what is best. I hate to get this started but I think you may be better off with a mechanical(some are definately better than others) like a spitfire which seems to limit penetration and makes it harder to fly/run away wiyh the arrow lodged. Once again nothing beats practice but as with deer hunting every little advantage helps.

Is this hunt going to be in one of Bucky’s videos? or just for personal sack?
