I’m in!! along with my son and my Dad! We went 3 out 4 on permits in zone 213. I can only hope we are that lucky in the woods! My 11 year old son had to fondle the gear as soon as he found out. Good luck to you all! Thanks to deertracker who called with the news!

Congrats guy’s. Looks like no deal for me this year. Good to go with the bow though!

I am glad you posted that….I have never hunted turkey before and this was the first year my son and I put in. The results show that I am in but the strange part is that it gave me week G which was my second choice….and yet there are 7 surplus permits available for my first preference. I don’t understand how that happened but no big deal….I may try to get one of the surplus tags.

Then again, I had rotator cuff surgery in mid-December on my right shoulder…..hope that heals by then and is ready to go. I just assumed it would be when I applied!!

Im in to for my 4th year in a row for 466 E. Good luck in the woods to all.

Our group got drawn again.

I hunt 416. They only give out 15 tags per week in 416. Usually I apply for the 4th week, but we all got drawn last year, so we changed it up this seaons to the 6th week – just to see what might happen. It worked!! My group of 3 all got drawn again. It usually takes us 4 to 5 years in between to get tags for the fourth week. After this year, it will be easy to tell,…. I’m done with that crap. Change it up every year and get a tag. Take the chance – or sit at home.

Gobble… Gobble. I was picked for the 6th year in a row. I hope to make it 6:6 and down a biggin’. Maybe this is the year that “Ole Coke Bottle” goes down. i hope he made it.

You can still bow hunt the last two weeks of the season. This will be the 3rd year that I have done this. Good luck and get out there and nail one.

I took my Dad last year for his 1st turkey hunt. We had turkeys literally LANDING around us in the a.m. I waited and waited for him to shoot….he never did. He said to me later in the a.m. when I asked why he didn’t shoot…he said “I wasn’t sure what was legal to shoot. I forgot to ask you”…….
It was a FANTASTIC couple of days…….never shot anything, but one of the best trips I’ve taken.

I got one as well as the wife again…cant wait…There has been a group of about 45 to 50 comin to the feeder with one albino hen we’ve been seein for the past few years.
