Thats unfortunate We were lucky enough that our birds stayed in the exact same trees. Everything was pretty much perfect!! Good luck to your kids!

Congrats Cade on a very impressive bird. Pretty funny about the deer being in the way. I had a similar thing happen to me but it wasn’t deer in the way, it was horses! Never did get to pull the trigger on that tom.

April 16, 2007 at 9:01 pm #30740I wanted to say that I am sorry for the pictures I posted. They had a banner in the top left corner from another website I posted on. I did not mean it as a bash to Indepthangling, and hope it was not taken in an offensive way. Here are the pics w/o the logo.
Thanks,

CadeMay 14, 2007 at 3:08 am #31538Finally got the pictures back from my uncle, these ones are a little better than my cell phone pics
so here they are…Here is me and my uncle with the turkey. I can’t thank my uncle enough for doing all he has done for me. It has been a great experience that I am still enjoying the feeling from. Not only did he allow me to hunt on his land, but he helped me bag my first turkey ever. He is even making a fan mount for me. Another great feeling was finding some nice morels in the same exact area that I shot my deer, and turkey. It’s moments like that that make you really love the outdoors.

May 18, 2007 at 3:00 am #31589Yes they are! Sure was convenient. during the youth hunt, we had a heater going and it was even warm in there! (youth hunt high was like 30 )
I really like the blind, the coolest part was how it collapses. You could even be mobile with it, and that is what we did last year. Folds right down and packs away. It was raining so bad last year that we had to take it around with us to get out of the rain for at least a whileMay 18, 2007 at 3:00 am #572439Yes they are!
