    1st day out turkey hunting today. Just had curious jakes come in during the blizzard. Heard Toms gobbling but couldn’t bring them off the ridge tops. Dave

    at least your seeing birds. Ive heard that a lot of guys aren’t seeing any w/ this weather. Are you bow hunting or shotgun?? Nice pics by the way

    We had one tom come through trolling. The dude I’m hunting with was tickled. I think the same bird came back, but he was up and we were down, soooo… no bird. I tried to sneak out of the blind and try to get him to commit, but no go. Hopefully, he will fly down to start the day!!!

    Nice picture witte…from what I’ve been seeing on the way into work the birds have not been very active….around here anyway! But the weather looks to be improving….hopefully you guys will get some tom’s fired up before your season ends! Mine is the third weekend so hopefully they will be going good!

    Protourbaits – I’m using a shotgun. Want to get 1 or 2 more under my belt before I make it even more challenging. Only saw 1 hen today. Toms gobbled on the roost but wouldn’t come out again and shut up too soon to chase. Hopefully the warm weather and snow melt get them going tomorrow.
