My WI turkey season starts tomorrow….6-12 inches of snow predicted Anyone want to trade for a later season At least you could stalk and track them in the snow. Hopefully it will melt for a day or two of good hunting. Good luck to all!

Mine starts tomorrow also but I can’t get out until Friday. Gotta admit in my area for as cold as it has been, the toms are really fired up.

I’ve seen the same thing the last couple days – I think the snow will turn them off until it melts though. Hopefully they’ll be gobbling by the weekend again for us.

I’m in the same boat. Gonna give it my best shot anyway. Last weekend (youth hunt) like LittleFishy said, the toms were really moving. I missed one actually We saw 8 toms in the first 3 hrs about. they were moving in groups also, execpt for one, probably the most beautiful turkey I have ever seen. Strutting right in until a whole SH** load of hens flew down and he was gone. I think we will still see a lot of birds. The ground is still relatively warm. got up to 46 here today..the snow shouldn’t last long if that sun breaks out
