I’m very antsy too! Can’t wait to get out there and hear the morning gobbles from the roost. My Dad and I have the 1st WI season..April 11th. I’m calling for him the first couple days, then we’re on our own. Hope it warms up a few degrees and the wind settles. Just took the slug barrel off yesterday and put the turkey barrel on. Gotta love sighting in those 3 inch mags. Good luck to all. Hope to have pics of a successful hunt next week.

I’ve been shooting my bow in my basement every night since the end of March! Now as soon as the weather is decent I’ll set the blind up and shoot from that! I have the 3rd season…the 25th – 29th….turkey hunt/walleye fishing trip! Nothing better! But I do need to get the clothes together/decoys/calls/camper ready! Lots to do…but that is all part of the fun!

I do the typical stuff, but I found that using a goose or duck call will sometimes get a reluctant tom to open up,even barkin like a dog will work when other sounds don’t.Good luck to everyone

“Barkin like a dog will work when other sounds dont”. Thanks for the tip, but im afraid if I start barkin like a dog while the hunt is being taped they might put me in a room with rubber walls .
