Wisconsin turkey permits

    i have been pondering whether i should turkey hunt in wisconisin this year or just hunt MN. I haven’t been able to find out what the regulations are for Wisconsin archery, ive looked the regs up online, and asked local Wisconsin license sellers…In MN, you can buy over the counter licenses for the last 2 weeks in May for archery. But i don’t know if for Wisconsin you have to apply, or you can buy over the counter? Can someone help me out?

    you can buy over the counter as long as they have tags left. To get a preference on seasons or areas, you need to apply for spring tags by Dec. 10th I think it is, and the fall tags by May. Then you go by the draw for the zones and seasons.
