I just got my bird back from the taxidermist. I took this bird in KS last spring. Jeff McHughs taxidermy out of Lake City, MN did the work. He did an awesome job, thanks again Jeff.

I will be hunting an orchard near Lake City in 6 weeks. Mind if I borrow him for the weekend?? . He would surely bring in the big boy that I know lives in there !!RR

Jeff charges $500 for any pose,(half strut, full strut, gobbling, etc.) Worth every penny, he really does a great job. I can’t wait to bring him a merriam this spring.

Nice mount Benny. If turkeys didn’t have that ugly head they would be most beautiful birds around. If your looking for any camera time for the archery season let me know. I have a spot all picked out. Should be able to lay the down on a big tom again this year.

That is an awesome mount! I think I like that better than a full strut mount!

What does one have to do to preserve a bird to be mounted? I’m going with the bow this year and would like a mount done! What’s the best thing to do after tagging and registration?
