For all you lucky indivduals that drew a tag this year, best of luck/skill . Hope to see some great pics in the up-coming weeks. As for me, I was unable to draw a tag in my area(Afton), which is relativly hard due to the fact that 35 are given out for each 5-day period.
    Lets see them LongBeards

I am so ready for my season (April 21-25). As much as I love fishing, there is just something about hunting that cannot be matched.

Got my Tom yesterday morning…. 24 1/2 lb., 10″ beard and 1″ spurs. Also help a buddy with his this morning 23 1/2 lb., 9 3/4″ beard and 1″ spurs….. Now I will get to go out with the boy this weekend and help him… well video tape it anyway… Hope to get some awesome video of his hunt. Then I have to wait until 4th season 4/28 until I can go out again… bummer

Man, there are certian times a year I wish I lived in Iowa. Like Pheasant opener and of course Turkey season. Here in Minnesota I can’t even draw 1 tag , even though I have tons of land to hunt, with HUGE longbeards.
    Best of luck to all!!!

Thanks Ryan and Steve…..bird weighed 24 1/2 lbs. But main thing is he had a very beautiful fan to him.

Jeff and I will be going out in the morning…. hopefully it doesn’t rain real hard but the main thing is I hope it doesn’t get windy.
