Tuned up custom rod blunder

Fishing on upper red lake this weekend in my buddy’s wheel house, I bent over to help a friend get a fish up through the hole and set my 36 inch commander tucr down across a bucket and as I bent over in a split second and it felt like slow motion my lure must have gotten smacked by a fish just right because my rod popped up and straight down the hole. Dropped my camera down to see if I could find it and it was gone. I had two more full days of fishing. I need to get another one and a quick tip. Should I go through tucr directly or through scheels to get the rods faster?

    That is a bummer…

Right now dealers who have the most are Thousand Lakes and then Scheels.

I would call Thousand Lakes first.

True I should have opened the bale or reeled it up. Thanks for the condolences. I just didn’t like the feel of my st. croix rods after using the commander. Big learning moment.
