    I have noticed that some rods have TUCR P and some have Precision 30 for instance on a precision rod.

    My first guess was that the one that actually says pPrecision 30 is a warranty replacement where the TUCR P is an original sale rod? I suppose it could just be a newer year model as well.

    nothing earth shattering here but have wondered that for awhile.

    The only difference is the decal. This year, we changed all of our decals to list the name of the rod and the length so we didn’t have to handwrite all of the lengths on the rods. The Precision 30 is just the new decal. And the TUCR P is the old one. We also just changed the butt camp stamp to have 3 fish instead of one.

    Dan I bought a new tucr precision this year and it only has 1 fish on the butt cap.

    I might be getting old, but I still like the old style better. New style/font has a mass produced/cheap look to it in my opinion. Just my unwarranted 2 cents…

    We started using the 3 fish design at the end of 2019.

    Waited 5 weeks for it and received it in mid December. Must of been crafted just before changeover.

    Dan – any insight you can offer to those of us that ordered TUCR rods from Cabelas that are on backorder? Any idea if/when we can expect to receive them? Thanks

    Honestly, I don’t know what their plans are for backorder rods. I know that we shipped our last rods to Cabelas a while ago.     I’m glad I got few hand-written rods. Now they are collectors items lol.
