I WAS FULLY READY TO BUY EITHER A DEAD STICK OR A COMMANDER BUT THE FUSION WON LOL SO THE OLD UGLY STIK WILL HAVE TO PASS FOR MY DEAD STICK THIS YEAR BUT I AM GONNA PAIR IT WITH THIS REEL THIS YEAR!!
Dave what type of tape is that holding the reels on. I’m guessing 3m brand.
I’m setting up for the “biggins”, that’s a TUCR LTP…try to find that on their website. Mille Lacs big pike.

It’s a 3M friction tape I’m trying out
can you show a picture of the action of that rod?
Here is a quick pic …
I have a fairly good load on it too..
That is the reel that you can engage and disengage correct so it basically free spools and clicks to tell there is a fish on?

WHAT LENGTH OF DEADSTICK DID YOU GO WITH??
Brennon he ordered 36″ with 8″ handles.
WHAT IS THE NORMAL HANDLE LENGTH ON THOSE??
That’s the same setup I’m going to try out this year Dave!
…..and speaking of the LTP, I just got my LTP and Fusion in the mail a couple days ago, thanks John!

Thank you for posting
Dave- what size bait runner did you put on that? I’ve been debating between the 20 series and the 30 series for my walleye deadstick setup.
I really like the 20 series…i think it’s more than adequate for pike and walleyes.
I’d like a 10 series for perch on the backwaters of the Mississippi River !!!

Love my TUCR Deadstick and have the same setup as Dave. I haven’t tried it with the iFish Pro though. I will have to give those a try this season.
Thanks Dave.I will look around see if I can find some.
I have some stashed away if you need a couple.
Dave , just wanted to let you know you cost me alot of money every time you post . My wife doesnt like you . On a serious note , thanks for the post . I ordered acouple series 20 reels snd just recieved them, i think they will work great for walleyes . Do they make a size smaller for panfish ? I did s quick google search snd didnt find one
Already have the Okuma Baitrunner, heading to the TUCR shop to see John to order the DS next week. Can’t wait to use it this Winter.

Mike,
Please send my sincerest apologies to your wife !!!
I have not found a smaller size like a 10 or 15…
I have not looked yet this year for the newest product line though..
As for the 20 series.. I have no problems with putting out baits for perch and crappies and the reel works flawlessly !!
