Woke up sunday with rain on the way and after a tough night. Fishing bud showed up with a cease of beer after I got home from work. Me and the banshee woke up and checked the weather, rain coming in from the south, we decided to head north about an hour to this little ramp I like early in the year, we left in a light rain and arrived in awesome sunny weather! got the boat launched, turned the key, motor would’t start! crap!! but wait, I was ready! had brought a extra battery!(that space comes in handy up front!) changed em out and rumbled right up! the new Tempest 19″ worked very well, got us up to 48+ at 5500 rpms. this prop is just right. hit some old memory spots and we ended up catching about 25 brown drum… this is a big resovoir and we had the whole end to our selves! the quiet was amazing! 6 hours we loaded up and got some bev for the ride home… real nice day! nice to look out that back window and see the blue tuffy! next up this week is finish the power pole… out…
Finally got out…
