Has anyone built one of these? My boat is a 2000. I’d really like to build a rear casting deck. I emailed the company and they don’t have plans for a build but they do offer the deck for sale, but it’s almost $700.

You could do it yourself for less! but you would have more time involved! think about how you want it! is it going to be removable or is it going to be part of the boat! how would you maximize storage? What things will you store?

You can make a pretty nice platform customized to your needs! you will still have some cost in materials and storage compartments and latches etc.

    good luck!

For 700$ you get matching carpet, matching logo, lids locks etc. I just put mine in monday and its a perfect fit no bolting required. adds a great casting platform and much storage. my boat came with it so I was lucky.
you could make your own I guess. if you got time and energy to pull it off. maybe add some rod tubes for trolling. some carpet remnents can be cheap. I’d be curious if you could measure it out right for one sheet of plywood. maybe do it in 2 separate sections. Good luck and don’t forget the pics.
