Tuffy 1890 with 150

    Anyone ever run an 1890 with a 150? I have found 2 and one is a verado. Just wondering what the boat handles like and approximate top speed? I know the boat is rated for a 200 but I think one is a pretty good deal and just wondering from first hand experience if the boat performs well with a 150 or if I should def go bigger? Thanks – Dan

    Cant say that I have, I have one with a 200. The 150 should push it upper 40’s. Can you test drive it? The 1890 is a pretty light hull, they claim 1600#

    Are not the verados the same motor from 135 through 200 HP? I think the only difference is the ecu (computer). I belive they can be reflashed for more performance.
