Can you use tulibees as bait in MN? Reading through the regs, I can’t come up with an answer.
So how do you interpret pages 30-31? Are tulibees legal for tipups?
For the sake of this topic, I’m talking larger than 7” tulies. You’ll see why this detail is important as you read.
I think page 12 definitions is the important part. For tulibee over 7″ is not a minnow, it’s a game fish. Back to page 30 it says “You can’t use whole or parts of game fish”
Some of that will probably be hairier based off which lake you’re planning on using them on. Such as Mille Lacs having a limit on Tullibee, which would probably make them a game fish. Lake Osakis not so much. I know that I have no idea.

Yeah it’s confusing, no doubt. Throw VHS into the equation and it makes it worse. No wonder there are not more bait dealers these days.
