There will be a lot of inventory on Friday but as the weekend goes on dont expect there to be much. Most likely they will be regular price. My advice order what you want this week. Scheels also has them.
Last year they had a lot of rods on the first day when I was there. I don’t recall any discounts but you save on shipping and you can check them out in person when making buying decisions. They also have their soft goods and other accessories there, which is nice.
If I remember correctly, I talked to a gentleman working the TUCR booth named Dan. Very nice guy. He was in the same boat as many in regards to being new to ice fishing. He shared his thoughts and guided me to a Bullwhip. Couldn’t be happier – I did buy this on Friday evening though. The inventory was still good that night.
When I bought my first TUCR from the Ice Show a few years ago I believe it was marked at 20% off. I can’t say that they’re still doing that but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some sale. They bring a crazy amount of rods to the how but they sell through them really fast.
We will have deals for sure. We don’t disclose the deals until the show opens.
