I have 2 love them! They really shine for jumbos, but I use for finicky lite bite walleye as well.

I’ve caught walleyes into the low 20s with mine and it did fine. If you are going to target bigger fish I would go with something heavier. If you are just catching eaters for the most part then it should be fine.

I have a quick tip, and have fished walleyes with it. I also run Commanders as well. On LOTW, I would say a quick tip isn’t to bad of a rod to choose for lighter tackle. I have caught walleye up to 26″ on mine without feeling like it wasn’t enough. Makes for a heck of a fight. And it’s also one of my favorites. I might change my tune after testing the Fusion.

I do know up there you can get into the bigger fish once in awhile as well. This is where I might look into the Fusion, Precision or my favorite which would be the Commander, which handles the larger baits better that I use for the bigger fish.

That to me is the hard part with fishing that lake. I could use really a couple of different rods up there because if you get into a mess of small walleye which happens a lot there and you’re using smaller baits, the quick tip, fusion and Precision would be a good rod. But if you want to use larger baits for bigger fish, I would go with the commander.

Thanks everyone, I think I am going to go with the precision, seems like a little better all around rod that can fish multi species.

The Precision is our most versatile rod for the middle of the fishing spectrum. It really excels for nearly all walleye situations, and it will handle smaller perch/big crappie and larger pike as well. Good choice!
