tucrs NW MetroPosts: 999 December 12, 2014 at 9:14 am #1483089 Noodle is a lighter rod overall. Lighter tip softer back bone. Bullwhip is a stiffer tip (just slightly) and a more pronounced backbone. Both work well for panfish but the bullwhip is a heavier rod overall. Let me know if that answers the question. John
