Other than the price what are the major differences?

Noodle is a lighter rod overall. Lighter tip softer back bone.

Bullwhip is a stiffer tip (just slightly) and a more pronounced backbone.

Both work well for panfish but the bullwhip is a heavier rod overall.

Let me know if that answers the question.

So the noodle is the choice for perch and pan fish? I want to replace a spring bobber rod.

I assume that means the Bull Whip would be a better option for small spoons (1/32oz or 1/16oz)?

Replacing a spring bobber go with the noodle if you want to fish heavier tungsten smaller spoons Bullwhip.

Not to hijack the post but thanks John. I will be looking at both tomorrow at the Milwaukee Ice Show (assuming your distributor has them there)
