Does anyone use the TUCR Apex series open water rods? What are your thoughts on them? How do they compare to other high dollar rods like St. croix or Fenwick?

    Thanks,

    Dan

I just took delivery of a 6’6″ ultra light from TUCR. Only have used it a few times, but so far I like it. Before this I was using a St Croix Panfish Series 6’9″ ultra light. I reply again in two weeks after I get back from vacation

I Got a 7’2″ MH Apex bass rod last year for jigs and Texas rigs and couldn’t be happier with it. I have a lot of st. Croix Avids and those rods quickly took a back seat to this rod. I also just got a 7’2″ ultra light for panfish and can’t believe how light it is, but I have not had time to get on the lake with that Rod yet. If you have any questions on them don’t hesitate to call the guys at TUCR.

I have a 6’8 MXF that is a great rod. I’ve had it for almost a year. It is the first rod I take out for jigging. I still use my GLoomis 6’Mag-Lite IMX and 6’10” Mag-Liet Walleye series a lot too, but the TUCR is the first to be pulled out of the rod locker. The 2 GLoomis are comparable in price

I am really loving this new rod. It’s very easy to catch those finicky crappies on lite bites. Will order a second one some day to match my first one.
