Hey,everyone I’ve been watching a lot of flaming gordge laker fishing. I seen that people are jigging 6-10″ tubes and 10″ hogys for these monsters. I live in central Ontario and I was wondering if buying big tubes would increase my odds of snagging a lunker. Do you guys have any suggestions on size, colours, brand, and weight. Also any other big soft plastics worth jigging.

I don’t use tubes much but I really like using airplane jigs. Not that I don’t like tubes, I just don’t have many. Tough to find large white ones around here.

I can imagine that a 10″ lure would have no problem of getting a 20#+ laker to bite.

Out on superior I have no problem using 8″+ ciscoes. The bigger the better in my opinion.

Thanks, I order my tubes threw bass magnet and water wolf. I love fishing tubes but I tyres a few bigger ones and didn’t have as good of luck. I could not get white so I got bluegill and black with red fleck to try. I just want to see if any one else has good luck on big tubes.
