With the cordless drill set up do you opt for:
1. Getting some type of clam plate or attachment
2. I see Dewalt has like a handle you can attach for stabilizing
3. Just the drill itself and the auguer bitI am looking to go this route and wondering what type of drill I should get. I am a Dewalt guy so leaning towards that. Do you have to have brushless I have talked to some that think you don’t necessarily have to have brushless.
I just use the hammer drill handle. If you already have dewalt tools it makes sense to get the biggest brushless dewalt hammer drill. the 995 I believe.
My buddy ran his 18vXRP dewalt to cut with a 6″ lazer for years and then a kdrill for a few years. he said he got about 100″ of ice with it. good for a few holes because he basically only fished farm ponds.
