Truck Topper Color Change

Seeing if there are any recommendations on shops to have a ARE topper repainted to match my truck. Going silver to black. I am in the Rogers MN area.

I had a hard time finding a shop that would do it and ended up having it wrapped. It saved a few bucks over paint but we’ll see if it holds up over time.

I paid $1k to have my buddy’s shop do it and that was with ME pulling the door off and all of the glass out. He was the cheapest I found for an 8′ Leer 100r topper. Most places where $1500+ or didn’t want to mess with it.

My lady friends runs fairway collision and automotive in vadnais heights. They do this there. Not sure what the cost is but they have sprayed a few different things for me.

You could check with Diamond Auto Collision. Eddie is a nice guy, and would do it for you. He is next door of my shop in Ham Lake. 651-313-2862 or 763-434-5503

Fiberglass is ok, not advisable on aluminum.

Aluminum is just fine to paint.

It is Fiberglass. I got a few quotes ranging from 800 to 1500.

I have had two toppers repainted at Maaco in Osseo. They accept cash only and I think last one (approx 2 yrs ago) was $750.00. They did a fine job for me and turnaround was quick.

The maaco on rice and 694 did a good job for my last topper and three others my friends bought. Price was nice too
