The revolver freezes up in the winter and eventually started falling apart.

Ive sold a bunch of them and never heard anyone complain about freeze up. Nice thing about them is any Tom Dick or Harry with a butter knife cant cut their way in and steal your stuff. I also prefer a good old access cover but no where near as secure.

Any dildo with a pry bar can open any type of cover.

Agreed – I keep my tailgate unlocked. If you want anything, have at it. I leave nothing of value but a plastic bin with a 12′ chain, couple of straps, star lug wrench ( 40 years old) and my receiver hitches. Would rather replace that stuff than the hassle of a new cover. Many of you probably use your beds differently so I get it.

This is what happens when it freezes shut and you try to open it…so I just don’t use the cover when its cold. Its an x4 revolver that cost about a thousand dollars…shame on me.

I agree Umy, I think I’ll get the access cover and not worry about someone prying open the cover and damaging the truck also.
